The Globe and Mail Leader’s Debate (September 18th)
The attacks.
There was no shortage of attacks leading up to the election. I decided to write down a few that were exchanged during this leader's debate.
Tom Mulcair (NDP) "....tired of watching successive Liberal, and Conservative governments dump major ecological, economic, and social debts on future generations." "How come we have 300 000 more unemployed today than when Harper's first recession hit in 2008?" "Trudeau's plan is reckless."
Justin Trudeau (Liberal) "What [Mulcair] doesn't realize is long term actually starts now, not ten years from now, not after a mandate where Mulcair is in government." “Mr. Harper has had the worst record on economic growth since the great depression, he has failed.”

Steven Harper (Conservative) “You, [Trudeau],are committed to taking us into deficit to fund your infrastructure plan. Spending money is an easy promise. What does success look like?” Harper also denied mush of what Trudeau said with no shortage of comments like "absolutely not".
