Summary of the pollsThese polls showed that early on, and right up until around September 19th, the NDP were leading, with the most support. After the 19th, they met a steep decline in support. I may speculate that this was because anyone who was in support of the "Anti-Harper" movement predicted that the Liberals would have a better chance at beating the conservatives than the NDP would. Others may argue that there was this great change in momentum due to the Liberals campaign being really good, or because people felt sympathetic because of all the Conservative attack adds on Justin Trudeau. Still others may argue that it was due to Tom Mulcair being leader of the DNP, and people starting to dislike him. No matter which of these reasons was responsible, or if it was a combination of all of them, the Liberals, won over a lot of the NDP's support. The Conservatives hovered with about 30% of Canadians support right up to the 18th, the day before the election.
